How to read a form guide

Form guides can look pretty complex so here's a small how to on reading one in a way to get the most out of it.
In an Australian form guide, you will see the TAB number at the left upper corner. Beside it will be the name of the horse, followed by the class, where the horse is racing, the barrier, and the weight of the horse. Below that information would be the name of the owner of the horse and under that would be the name of the trainer. Following the name of the trainer would be the information of the horse, including the color, sex, age, and the parents of the horse. Basically, this line would include all the additional information about the horse. Alongside with this information would be the name of the jockey, or the person who will be riding the horse during the race.
After the basic information about the horse, the next line will be the colors that the horse will carry in that specific race. This information will be followed by the statistics that the horse had for its entire career in horse racing. Under this information is the track form. The track form contains a lot of information, including the track, date, distance, class of the race, and all the other information regarding the race.
